Account Supervisor, Arts & Culture Public Relations

BerlinRosen is seeking an Account Supervisor to join their growing Arts & Culture team. The Account Supervisor will be responsible for creating strategies and promoting programs that drive media and consumer attendance at events, exhibits, and openings. They will also manage junior staff and client relations, working with a team of expert colleagues. This role is based in the New York office on a hybrid basis, with the Cities team being in-office 2 days per week.

Conceptualize and drive new story angles and other media opportunities for clients

Place numerous stories through persistence and creativity

Identify new targets and try new approaches until the story is placed

Create strategies and promote programs that drive media and consumers to attend events, exhibits, and openings

Lead the day-to-day account flow by managing junior staff and client relations

• At least 5 years of experience working in strategic communications in the arts and culture industry at a PR agency, media outlet, or in-house communications team
• Understanding of the art world and a demonstrated personal interest in visual and performing arts
• Strong storytelling skills
• Versatile writer comfortable with writing in an informal, conversational tone and addressing people more formally when necessary
• Savviness and creativity in media relations and pitching, social media content ideation, and influencer engagement
