About the position
BerlinRosen is seeking a Senior Vice President to join their Growth team. This role will focus on driving and developing business development strategies and strategists across multiple organizations, including firms in which BerlinRosen has recently made majority investment and future investments. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with strong backgrounds in business development and management. They will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Growth and will be responsible for supporting the big picture business development strategy, leading multiple projects, collaborating with firm management teams, and managing and mentoring staff.
Responsibilities
- Support the big picture business development strategy and content development across BerlinRosen partner firms
- Lead multiple projects at once while coordinating between teams and firms, researching new projects, and project-managing business development integrations
- Shape tailor-made, engaging content for presentations and written proposals
- Manage programs to support Growth team expansion and infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with firm management teams to develop and inspire growing teams of strategists
- Directly manage and mentor staff as the team expands
- Provide overall strategic direction and feedback for staff development and work
- Have 8-10+ years of professional experience across relevant backgrounds such as public relations, legal, professional services, government, or business sectors
- Have experience in business development, including shaping business development processes, directing new business strategies, and developing tailored proposals
- Have experience in leading and mentoring a diverse team
- Have excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize work streams and track progress across multiple teams
- Have expert multitasking skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once, work quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
- Have strong writing and research skills
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of professional experience in public relations, legal, professional services, government, or business sectors
- Experience in business development, including shaping business development processes, directing new business strategies, and developing tailored proposals
- Experience in leading and mentoring diverse teams and successfully motivating, managing, and mentoring teams to meet objectives
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize work streams and track progress across multiple teams
- Expert multitasking skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once, work quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
- Strong writing and research skills
