About The Position
As an Account Representative for Russ Vorhis, a State Farm independent contractor agent, you support daily business operations and help customers succeed. You help grow the agency by building meaningful customer relationships, connecting customer needs with agency departments, and proactively marketing relevant insurance and financial services products. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees and make their own employment decisions.
Requirements
- Property & Casualty license.
- Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
- Written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Dedication to customer service.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Ability to relate effectively to customers.
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience, including outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
- Experience managing customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop leads and schedule appointments.
- Identify customer needs and market products and services to address them.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
- Respond to inquiries about product availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Promote successful, long-lasting customer relationships.
