About The Position

As Account Manager for Tom Pelham - State Farm Agent, you support daily business operations and customer success. You help grow the agency by building meaningful customer relationships and connecting customer needs with the agent’s office departments. You proactively market relevant insurance products and services and use product knowledge to recommend, explain, and sell policies to prospective and existing customers. The agency describes itself as an established, growth-oriented insurance and financial services office with a motivated team. It serves customers’ insurance and financial services needs, including auto, home, life, business, health, and renters insurance, as well as retirement and college planning. The office is in Ann Arbor and is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The agency has five team members and 55 years of combined insurance experience. State Farm agents are independent contractors and make their own employment decisions; employees of the agent are not employees of State Farm.

Requirements

Leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Willingness to engage in sales conversations.

Nice To Haves

Experience in insurance sales or account management is preferred.

Responsibilities
