About The Position

Imperial Beverage is hiring a full-time, On-Premise-focused Account Manager to sell beverages to customers in an assigned territory and expand knowledge of beverage categories. The role requires previous sales experience and availability Monday through Friday. The employee must live in the assigned market or be willing to relocate to the Holland area. Account Managers balance multiple priorities, build customer relationships, solve problems, pursue goals, and help local bars, grocery stores, and restaurants succeed with their beverage choices. A typical day involves reviewing the sales route on an iPad, planning for each stop, driving to customer accounts, meeting with purchasers or managers, and working products into the account. This can include filling shelves, rotating products, checking backstock, tracking replenishment needs, and identifying products that may help the account succeed. The Account Manager discusses replenishment and new product placements with account decision-makers, uploads orders, and prepares visit recaps for future visits and merchandiser updates. Additional opportunities include rewriting beer, wine, or cocktail lists; sampling and learning about products with suppliers; hand-selling products to consumers at beer or wine dinners; volunteering at local festivals; and assisting with store resets. The minimum compensation is $46,000–$69,000 per year, with total compensation increasing based on commission earnings and opportunities for bonus and incentive pay.
