About The Position

MagicSchool is hiring an Account Executive to own its Gulf Coast territory and grow revenue from an existing foundation during a high-priority period for the state. The role combines territory strategy with hands-on sales execution, navigating state-level dynamics and the K–12 education landscape while personally driving deals from stakeholder mapping through procurement and close. The Account Executive will tailor MagicSchool’s offerings with clients and internal teams to secure the platform as the solution of choice in a competitive market. This is a remote position. Alabama is preferred, but candidates from any state in the territory are welcome. The role is responsible for a $1 million to $1.2 million annual quota, closing K–12 district partnerships with an average deal size of $50,000 or more. The Account Executive is expected to accelerate revenue within the first six months, build senior relationships with district and state stakeholders, and use district successes to expand into neighboring districts.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Understanding of Gulf Coast K–12 dynamics, including DOE dynamics, legislative context, district politics, and state-specific procurement patterns.
  • Consistent record of quota attainment and ability to discuss specific deals, how they were won, and the outcomes achieved.
