About The Position

The Account Executive (Tour Consultant) manages and grows a geographic territory of existing and prospective U.S. school customers, operating the territory as a business. The role partners with educators to create international educational travel programs, from sourcing and connecting with teachers to selecting tours that fit students’ interests and learning needs, building community excitement, recruiting student travelers, and preparing groups for departure. Consultants support groups throughout the travel cycle and develop repeat business as teachers return with new groups. The position combines sales, customer service, territory planning, and problem-solving. Consultants create roadmaps for sustainable growth, forecast and achieve sales goals, adapt their priorities to the school-year calendar, and use AI and other tools to support outreach and meetings. They also respond to teacher inquiries about tours, events, and emergencies, and resolve pre-tour, on-tour, and post-tour challenges using EF procedures. EF provides onboarding, ongoing training, and career-development support. The role is based in the Boston office, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week, and includes business travel opportunities.
