About The Position

The Account Executive is responsible for generating new-business revenue each month and contributing to individual and team goals. The role builds a book of business by prospecting and establishing referral relationships with professionals in the real estate and mortgage industries. Account Executives work with clients to understand their insurance needs, evaluate options from a large carrier portfolio, and provide customized solutions to mitigate household risk. The position includes extensive training in Salesforce, sales process management, and business development. This opportunity is with a locally owned and operated Goosehead Insurance franchise; the franchise Agency Owner, rather than Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC, is the employer and makes employment decisions.

Requirements

• Pass the state licensing exam after being hired.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Have experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Have B2B or B2C sales experience, or a related college major.
• Demonstrate a competitive attitude, networking abilities, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Have a problem-solving mentality and a self-motivated, hands-on, self-starter mindset.
• Have strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
