About The Position

The Account Executive is responsible for generating monthly new-business revenue and contributing to individual and team goals. The role builds a book of business by developing referral partnerships with professionals in real estate and mortgage, and by helping clients understand their insurance needs, compare options from a broad carrier portfolio, and select solutions to mitigate household risk. Account Executives receive training in Salesforce, sales process management, business development, and related areas. This opportunity is with a locally owned Goosehead Insurance franchise; if hired, the franchise Agency Owner—not Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC—will be the employer and will be responsible for employment decisions.

Requirements

• Pass the state licensing exam after being hired.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Have B2B or B2C sales experience or a related college major.
• Demonstrate a competitive attitude, networking abilities, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Have a problem-solving mentality and a self-motivated, hands-on, self-starter mindset.
• Have strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
