About The Position

Workday is hiring an experienced enterprise seller for a specialized sales team focused on platform, data, analytics, AI, and extensibility solutions for the Office of the CIO. The role partners with enterprise customers to help technology leaders modernize technology strategies, unlock value from Workday’s platform, and connect innovation roadmaps to measurable business outcomes. The position calls for technical fluency, executive presence, and disciplined sales execution in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. The Account Executive engages CIOs, CTOs, senior technology leaders, and ecosystem partners, building trusted relationships and shaping value propositions around cloud architecture, data strategy, AI, integration, security, and enterprise transformation. The role owns platform sales opportunities from discovery through negotiation and close; develops account strategies and pipeline; and coordinates with internal sales, product, customer success, presales, value management, and partner teams. It also collaborates with cloud partners, global system integrators, and technology ecosystem partners to position Workday solutions within customers’ broader IT landscapes. Workday describes its flexible-work approach as combining in-person work with remote work, with at least half of each quarter spent in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, and partners, depending on the role.
