About The Position

The Account Development Representative (ADR) owns a dedicated portfolio of approximately 500–700 customer accounts and grows the business through proactive outbound selling by phone. The role develops relationships with pool builders, service companies, and retailers; identifies purchasing opportunities; and demonstrates how POOLCORP products and services can add value. The ADR partners with the field sales team and Sales Centers to provide accounts with appropriate support and attention. The ADR manages the full phone-based sales cycle, from identifying needs and recommending solutions to quoting, negotiating, overcoming objections, and closing. The position also monitors customer purchasing patterns, pursues cross-sell and upsell opportunities, promotes products and programs, and works to retain or reactivate accounts. Customer interactions and opportunities are recorded in the CRM, and the role works with Territory Sales Representatives, Sales Center teams, Customer Service, and management to support customers and grow the business.
