About The Position

As an Access Associate with WNY Orthopedics at RGH, you will provide administrative support and serve as a first point of contact for patients and their families. The role includes greeting patients, completing check-in and check-out procedures, scheduling appointments, and processing payments. A warm and inviting disposition is required.

This is a full-time position at RGH, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The stated pay range is $18.25 to $20.50.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls and provide necessary information.
• Greet patients, provide direction as needed, and schedule patient appointments.
• Complete patient registration according to departmental policy.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage, and obtain precertification or authorization when applicable.
• Collect and process payments when applicable.
