Equalizing Opportunities for Job Seekers

Dave Fano

In honor of Black History Month, we’re highlighting a dozen great platforms that help level the playing field for job seekers and focus specifically on empowering Black professionals.

We want to see more people be in jobs they love—and that starts with providing equal access to job searching tools and resources.

Maximizing your chances of landing a job you love often means finding opportunities on different job boards—but what about openings at companies that don’t list their roles on the most common platforms? It can make it tough to find out about certain positions that may otherwise be a match for your skillset.

We wanted to integrate some of these lesser-known yet just-as-powerful job boards into the job-searching experience so that they’re as easy to use as more mainstream sites like LinkedIn and Indeed. In honor of Black History Month, we’re highlighting a dozen great platforms that help level the playing field for job seekers and focus specifically on empowering Black professionals. We’ve added support for these sites into our free Chrome extension to simplify saving, tracking, and applying for jobs listed there.

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months as we continue to work to equalize opportunities for underrepresented job seekers and increase accessibility and inclusivity across the board.

Have other job boards you’d like us to integrate into Teal’s Chrome extension? Send us a note and let us know!
