About The Position
ATACO Steel Products Corp is hiring Welders to join their manufacturing team. This position offers stable hours with a 4-day workweek, providing a long weekend most weeks. The role involves performing MIG (GMAW) welding on metal components, working with fixtures and jigs, reading weld prints, and inspecting welds for quality. There are also opportunities to work with TIG welding or robotic welding based on skills and production needs. ATACO is a family-owned company with a small team environment, offering a variety of parts and projects, and opportunities for learning additional processes and equipment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of welding experience in manufacturing
- Ability to read weld prints or blueprints
- Comfortable working with welding equipment and tools
- Able to handle physical work in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on metal components
- Work with fixtures and jigs to position parts
- Read weld prints and follow specifications
- Inspect welds to ensure quality standards
