About The Position
At Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY - the global leader in opening solutions, we strive to be the best. We have a warehouse associate opening in Concord, NC and are looking for the best to join our team. This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. We are looking for someone who is a motivated, hard worker, not afraid of heavy lifting, always treating our customers the way they deserve to be treated, believes in working together as a team and doing what needs to be done, and will be with us for the long haul.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license, with at least one year of driving experience
- Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement
- Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR that must meet Amarr driver standards
- Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines
- Demonstrated history of steady employment
Responsibilities
- Unload and inspect incoming product (this can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand
- Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service
- Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed
- Assist with inventory and damage control
