Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software or systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Willingness to adhere to safety standards and protocols.
• Possess a customer-centric mindset.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Utilize picking lists or digital systems to accurately pick items from designated locations.
• Ensure that correct quantities and products are selected for each order.
• Safely transport picked items to the packing area using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Properly package items according to company standards to prevent damage during transit.
• Label packages accurately with appropriate shipping information.
• Prepare orders for shipment by consolidating items and securing packages for transport.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders or packing lists.
• Put away received inventory in designated storage locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
• Perform regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Complete necessary paperwork, such as shipping labels, packing slips, and inventory logs, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain records of inventory movements, transactions, and adjustments.
• Assist in maintaining documentation related to safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
