As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and personnel, and respond to situations with integrity. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established government facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report access concerns or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.
