About The Position

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Clarkston has an immediate need for Toddler Resource Teachers. These positions provide support and coverage to the teaching staff so they can utilize their planning time effectively. In this entry level role in Early Childhood Education, you will provide coverage during breaks and lunches to maintain staffing ratios and will serve as an integral part of the closing team, greeting parents at the end of the day when they come to pick up their children. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in early childhood education. These positions offer growth opportunities, training and development and potential for advancement within the organization.

Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be certified in CPR/First Aid ( can be completed after hire )
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a childcare setting or as a private nanny

Responsibilities

  • Appropriate care and supervision in the classroom, bathroom, hallways and outdoors.
  • Abide by all Heartfelt company policies and procedures
  • Support lead and assistant teacher
  • Will engage in active play and supervision with children in the classroom
  • Will need to participate and direct children through the daily routine
  • Greet each parent when they walk in the classroom
  • Follow Heartfelt Core Values when making decisions.
