About The Position
A Surgery Scheduler schedules and coordinates surgeries and follow up appointments. This person works with patients, physicians, and outside facilities to ensure accurate information.
Requirements
- Experience working in a medical office
- Some experience with medical coding
- Familiarity with medical insurances
- Familiarity with electronic health systems
- Familiarity with scheduling systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Responsibilities
- Schedules and coordinates surgeries and follow up appointments.
- Works with patients, physicians, and outside facilities to ensure accurate information.
