Requirements
- MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician through CBSPD or IAHCSMM required in an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Preferred in a Hospital setting.
- Certified through the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support required.
- Knowledge of infection control principles and good communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous sterile processing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for preparing and assembling medical and surgical supplies, instrumentation, and equipment
- maintaining the sterile processing areas
- receiving and distributing surgical supplies and equipment.
