As a Speech Pathologist, you will bring your experience and passion for health care to our rehab team! You will work in all areas of the hospital including Med-Surg, Ortho, ED, Observation, Trauma, and ICU. You will be an active and engaged change agent; dedicated to the needs of our patients and families. Steadfast to safe, kind, effective, efficient, evidenced-based and high-quality clinical care, outcome focused and solution oriented. You will participate in the interdisciplinary team including therapists, nurses, physicians, and case managers to provide direct patient care and recommend appropriate discharge plans. POSITION SUMMARY This position provides screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation services for patients with speech and language disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. This position plans and carries out specialized treatment programs, documents treatment, and maintains data regarding patient care. This position demonstrates the clinical competence and knowledge necessary to provide treatment appropriate to the age of the patients served.
