About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year in the Burnsville, MN area. This is an in-person, full-time position supporting two middle schools. The role involves providing speech therapy services, developing and implementing IEP goals, participating in IEP meetings, collaborating with school teams, partnering with teachers and families, and maintaining documentation. The company is a woman and therapist-run organization focused on support and mentorship.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Minnesota PELSB SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services in the school setting
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Oversee an SLPA who will provide services
