About The Position

This position is only open to current employees supporting the FOMSS II Contract. The Sheet Metal Worker Foreman provides on-site guidance and direction to sheetmetal workers. The Foreman reviews the work of subordinates regularly, keeping each appraised of his/her performance. The role is responsible for all tools and materials required for assigned tasks, enforcing and maintaining safety precautions/regulations for all craftsmen, and assisting in scheduling upcoming work and ensuring proper staging of materials for such jobs. All other position-related duties as assigned or requested will also be performed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Qualified journeyman with union foreman experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all tools and materials required for assigned tasks.
  • Enforce and maintain safety precautions / regulations for all craftsmen.
  • Assists in scheduling upcoming work and ensuring proper staging of materials for such jobs.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
