About The Position
As a Security Officer Healthcare Patrol Driver in Haines City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with exceptional service and communication. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with location procedures, offering directions and assistance to visitors as needed.
- Support a professional environment by communicating with site contacts, observing for unusual activity, and/or addressing routine issues related to property, people, and operations.
