About The Position
GardaWorld Security Services is seeking dedicated Security Officers who excel at customer service, remain vigilant in dynamic environments, and take pride in protecting people and property. As a Security Officer, you will serve as a Security Ambassador, providing a welcoming presence while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our client’s construction site.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED required
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to successfully pass an extensive background screening
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and phone proficiency
Nice To Haves
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required
- Possession of an Oklahoma CLEET license, or the ability to obtain one
Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors and provide exceptional customer service
- Verify identities and manage site access control procedures
- Conduct routine patrols to identify and address security concerns
- Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with GardaWorld policies
- Inspect security equipment and report maintenance issues
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and medical situations, including providing first aid when necessary
- Coordinate with emergency responders and site personnel
- Answer questions and assist visitors in person and by phone
- Complete detailed incident reports and communicate security-related concerns
- React promptly and effectively to threats, emergencies, or unusual activity
- Help ensure the safety and protection of people, property, and assets
