About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry/Stroke Registered Nurse to provide quality care to patients with a range of medical conditions, including chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, post-cardiac catheterization, stroke, and sepsis. The nurse will also support patients undergoing alcohol and substance withdrawal.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Stroke experience is mandatory
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Nice To Haves
- Previous travel nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry/stroke setting.
- Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
