About The Position

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
• Valid NM RN License or valid multi-state compact license or eligible for licensure by examination
• Valid NM Driver’s License, access to reliable transportation and insurance
• Current BLS Certification
• 2+ years of experience
• Proven ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
• Proven solid management skills; organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Geriatric and Primary Care experience

Responsibilities

• Manages the patient care process by ensuring that a comprehensive patient assessment and plan of care is completed and documented on all patients within the time frame of the established policy
• May manage staff members, assess the needs of patients, delegates tasks, and supports staff with duties when needed
• Establishes collaborative relationships with members of the healthcare team and facilitates the generation of ideas for improvement of patient care and supporting clinic staff
• Adheres to regulatory and organization policies and procedures to ensure compliance and patient safety
• Participates and attends departmental meetings and professional development activities
• Demonstrates quality improvement, facilitating the generation of ideas for improvement of patient care and functioning of the unit
• Completing basic RN competencies including triage (in-person and phone), nurse book, and I &R testing. in addition to departmental specific competencies
• Travel to multiple primary care clinics (1821 Carlisle Blvd NE and 9501 Paseo del Norte NE)
• Other duties as assigned
