About The Position

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification is required.
• 2 years preferred of medical-surgical nursing or equivalent required.
• Long Term Acute Care or rehabilitation nursing and/or management level experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and coordination of patient care for the nursing units.
• Problem solving.
• Providing adequate staffing.
• Monitoring work performance and providing appropriate feedback to employees regarding work performance and behavior.
• Interpreting, implementing and enforcing hospital policy.
• Assuming responsibility for nursing administrative decisions in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, if applicable.
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
