About The Position

Requirements

• Must have credentials as an RN with a current New York State license.
• Must be CPR and first aid certified.
• Must have verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents as necessary.
• Greeting newly admitted residents upon admission and escort them to their rooms.
• Visiting residents on a daily basis in order to observe and evaluate each resident’s physical and emotional status.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
• Monitoring medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.
• Reviewing MAR for completeness of information, accuracy in the transcription of physician orders, and adherence to stop order policies.
