About The Position
We are hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a hospital-based acute care setting. This role is best suited for nurses who are currently working in acute care case management or utilization review and want a stable, long-term opportunity. The RN Case Manager will coordinate care for patients in an acute care hospital, perform medical necessity reviews, manage discharge planning and transitions of care, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and act as a clinical resource for patients, families, and staff.
Requirements
- Active Nevada RN license
- 3+ years of acute care case management experience
- Certified Case Manager (CCM)
- BLS (AHA)
Nice To Haves
- InterQual or Milliman experience
- Utilization Review background
- Pediatric case management
Responsibilities
- Coordinate care for patients in an acute care hospital
- Perform medical necessity reviews
