About The Position
SRS is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented merchandiser to maintain a small branded cooler/freezer unit at a local grocery store. This flexible opportunity is perfect for someone who lives nearby or already has business in the area. The role involves visiting the store weekly to perform product changeouts, restock inventory, update signage, and report service via smartphone. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with as-needed gig scheduling, and hours and project frequency vary by client, market, and season. No mileage or drive time reimbursement is offered, making it best suited for local individuals or those with other business in the area.
Requirements
- Comfortable using a smartphone to report tasks
- Individuals who live close to the store within a 10-15 mile radius
Nice To Haves
- Professionals looking for supplemental income, not a full-time position
Responsibilities
- Visit the store 1 time per week (based on client requirements)
- Perform bi-weekly full product changeouts, including defrosting the unit, restocking, and updating signage
- On other visits, check inventory levels and restock as needed (20 min. average)
- Verify thermostat settings are accurate per instructions
- Report service via smartphone/device the same day, including required photos
Benefits
