About The Position

Requirements

• RRT- Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapist program.
• Credentialed by the NBRC as a RRT.
• CRT- Credentialed by the NBRC as a CRT.
• Licensed by the State of Iowa as RCP.

Nice To Haves

• Health care experience within the last five years.
• Proficient using computers.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and care for patients with breathing disorders.
• Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of respiratory care students.
• Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain patient records.
• Select, assemble, check, and operate equipment.
• Provide high quality respiratory care to Neonate, Infant, Toddler, School Age, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patient populations.
