About The Position
The receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, dealing with inquiries on the phone and face to face.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
- Demonstrated capacity to exhibit sensitivity to clients.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute and successfully pass a secretarial skill test.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to interact with community members in a professional, efficient, and compassionate manner.
- This is an entry level position, but we would prefer one to two years of experience working in reception.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
Responsibilities
- Answer the phone, transfer calls, and conduct initial applicant for eligibility pre-screens.
- Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients, and applicants.
- Present the first impression of the organization to clients, applicants, and the general public.
