About The Position

The Bilingual Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and well-organized front desk and office environment.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with Spanish-speaking visitors and employees.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals in person and over the phone.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel (basic functions), and PowerPoint.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior customer service experience required, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in interactions.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required to represent the organization positively as the first point of contact.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role preferred.
  • Experience in a construction or similar office environment is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner while maintaining a polished front desk presence.
  • Monitor the front desk area and ensure consistent coverage so all visitors are promptly acknowledged and assisted.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls, routing inquiries accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support communication with Spanish-speaking visitors and employees to facilitate clear, effective, and respectful interactions.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries throughout the office.
  • Provide light administrative and operational support to team members and leadership, helping to maintain an organized and professional office environment.
  • Assist with basic data entry and use of Microsoft Office applications to support day-to-day office operations.
  • Represent the organization positively as the first point of contact, maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and perform additional duties as assigned to support office efficiency.
