About The Position
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing daily concrete tests, checking concrete members against fabrication drawings, documenting product status, and ensuring products meet specifications. This role offers career growth opportunities, a chance to lead quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the successful delivery of major projects within an innovative and collaborative environment. Requirements
- Good math, record keeping and problem-solving ability.
- Computer spreadsheet experience preferred.
- Ability to study, take and pass QC certification exams with adequate time and training provided.
- Must be able to lift material samples of 75 lbs. approx. 10 to 15 times per day and on occasion more depending on duties required.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Strong communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.
- Reliable Attendance is a must!
Nice To Haves
- Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily concrete tests.
- Check all concrete members against fabrication drawings before and after casting per established required tolerances.
- Document product status by recording and summarizing preliminary, in-process and finished product data.
- Ensure products are manufactured to meet specifications.
- Other duties as directed by supervisor.
Benefits
- Competitive Compensation: $26.93 – $31.95/hr DOE plus overtime & benefits
