About The Position

We are looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Oshkosh, WI. In this role, you will make an impact by building strong cross-functional and supplier relationships to drive improved quality performance and align outcomes with business objectives. You will apply APQP, AIAG tools, and Cummins quality methodologies to enhance supplier manufacturing processes and ensure product consistency. You will support supplier audits and progressively lead low-risk audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and drive continuous improvement. You will contribute to root cause analysis and corrective action development to resolve supplier-related quality issues effectively. You will verify the effectiveness of corrective actions to ensure sustainable resolution of quality challenges. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to strengthen supplier capabilities. You will support quality performance planning for specific products or supplier segments to improve overall supply chain quality outcomes. You will progress toward independently leading low-complexity quality initiatives, audits, and improvement projects, increasing impact and ownership over time.
