About The Position

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Virginia.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, and implement programs.
• Ability to work well with a variety of individuals.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of supervisory or nursing administration experience preferred.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the wound care program.
• Oversee and maintain the infection control plan to ensure quality care for residents.
