About The Position

Requirements

• Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 6 months in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.
• Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and assistive device training.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
• Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.
