About The Position
HSHS Medical Group is seeking Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team serving the Greater Springfield, Illinois area. As we continue to expand our outpatient rehabilitation services, we anticipate multiple opportunities for Physical Therapist Assistants to join our growing team. We're looking for patient-focused, mission-driven therapists who are passionate about providing exceptional outpatient care. We welcome candidates with an interest in any specialty area, including orthopedics, sports medicine, pelvic health, vestibular, neurological rehabilitation, oncology, lymphedema, hand therapy, and more.
Requirements
- Graduate (e.g., Associate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice.
- 2+ years of experience.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
- Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
Nice To Haves
- Board Certification which meets rigorous standards of maintenance or certification.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide individualized patient care.
- Implement treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients and families.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team.
- Support the continued growth of our outpatient rehabilitation services.
