About The Position

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about helping others and is a team player. As a PTA joining our team, you’re embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. This role involves providing physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover, and maintain physical mobility/function under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Requirements

• Associates Degree Required
• Physical Therapist License in state NC
• Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
