Licensed Outpatient Psychologist - Training Opportunity - Champlin, MN

About The Position

This position is ideal for a Licensed Psychologist interested in seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting, being part of an integrated mental health team, and seeking opportunity to teach and train others. Allina Health Champlin Clinic is a primary care clinic with other specialties, including mental health services. The position provides the opportunity to see patients in clinic Monday - Friday during daytime hours, with the ability to work from home, and no call time required. The role allows for seeing adults, children, or the lifespan and provides opportunities to train psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows, and attend monthly supervision/consultation meetings.

Requirements

  • PsyD or PhD in clinical psychology required
  • Licensed Psychologist - MN Board of Psychology required upon hire
  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 days
  • Formal Training/Certification in a suicide prevention modality as applicable based on role within 90 days required

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years patient treatment in clinical setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and psychological evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and care teams.
  • Deliver outpatient psychotherapy services (individual and family therapy).
  • Engage patients’ social supports to improve functioning and outcomes.
  • Coordinate care with community providers and agencies; initiate referrals as needed.
  • Train psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows and attend monthly supervision/consultation meetings.
