VP, Account Manager - Mission Critical Provides executive leadership for assigned projects and strategic accounts, driving s growth and operational excellence across high-value portfolios. Architects and executes transformational real estate strategies that position JLL as the partner of choice for complex, mission-critical initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years in responsible charge of Tier 2, 3 or 4 Data Center(s) or Critical manufacturing Operation(s).
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from four-year College or University preferred; or 10 to 15 years related technical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or related activity
  • Ability to regularly articulate and communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals.
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client’s representatives, etc.) demonstrating a superior and professional level of expertise.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to budgeting, scheduling, submittals, change orders.
  • Fully competent at managing all types/sizes of projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications and MS Project.
  • Demonstrates skills that enable the individual to successfully execute more complex transactions.
  • Assumes lead role on complex client assignments.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Demonstrates exceptional business acumen and entrepreneurial vision, making high-stakes decisions that balance risk mitigation with strategic opportunity. Energizes organizations through thought leadership, establishing JLL as an industry innovator in project delivery methodologies and client service excellence.
  • Client Partnership & Value Creation: Serves as trusted advisor and strategic partner to clients, understanding their business drivers and translating organizational objectives into actionable real estate strategies. Cultivates long-term strategic relationships at the executive level, positioning JLL as an integral partner in achieving business transformation goals. Orchestrates seamless integration across multidisciplinary teams—architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders—to deliver outcomes that exceed client expectations. Negotiates complex, high-value agreements that balance client needs with risk management and profitability objectives. Leads proactive conflict resolution and stakeholder alignment, maintaining strategic relationships through transparency, accountability, and consistent delivery of measurable results. Anticipates client needs and market dynamics, positioning services and solutions that address emerging challenges before they impact operations.
  • Operational Excellence & Risk Leadership: Establishes governance frameworks and performance standards that ensure consistent delivery excellence across all project initiatives. Implements quality assurance protocols, risk management strategies, and compliance frameworks that protect organizational reputation and minimize exposure. Identifies strategic risks and emerging liabilities, developing mitigation strategies that safeguard client interests and organizational assets. Provides executive guidance on complex issues involving regulatory compliance, contractual obligations, and reputational considerations. Drives adoption of advanced project delivery technologies and data-driven decision-making tools. Champions innovation in project management methodologies, establishing best practices that enhance efficiency, transparency, and predictive capabilities.
  • Talent Management: Recruits, interviews, and selects top talent for delivery roles, ensuring alignment with organizational culture and business strategy. Manages performance review cycles, sets annual goals in collaboration with team members, and ensures fair, consistent evaluation processes aligned with company standards. Recognizes and rewards high performers through formal recognition programs, career advancement opportunities, and compensation recommendations.
  • Team Operations & Culture: Fosters a collaborative, inclusive team environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Conducts regular team meetings to communicate strategic priorities, share best practices, and ensure alignment across the account management organization. Resolves personnel issues, mediates conflicts, and partners with HR on employee relations matters to maintain a positive, productive work environment.
  • Resource Allocation & Workload Management: Optimizes team structure and workload distribution to balance client needs, employee capacity, and business priorities. Monitors team bandwidth and adjusts resources as needed to prevent burnout while maintaining service excellence and client satisfaction. Makes strategic decisions regarding hiring needs, team expansion, and organizational design to support business growth objectives.
  • Market Positioning & Thought Leadership: Represents JLL's project management capabilities in client presentations, industry forums, and strategic pursuits. Articulates the value proposition for JLL's integrated service platform, demonstrating how comprehensive solutions drive measurable business outcomes. Contributes to market intelligence and competitive positioning strategies, identifying emerging trends and evolving client needs that inform service innovation and go-to-market approaches. Collaborates across business units to create integrated solutions that leverage JLL's global platform and local market expertise.
