The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is seeking a Project Manager for its Asset & Capital Management (A&CM) Division. The A&CM Division manages a $5 billion capital projects portfolio, focusing on preserving and modernizing NYCHA buildings through strategic planning, design standards, innovative financing, and project management. The Capital Programs team within A&CM oversees over 500 active construction projects citywide, ranging in value from $100,000 to $500 million. These projects include renovations and modernization of apartments, building systems, exteriors, and grounds. The Project Manager will report to the Deputy Director and be responsible for delivering capital construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role involves supervising and coordinating in-house and outsourced construction management personnel, as well as architectural and engineering resources. The selected candidate will make day-to-day project management decisions, manage the project portfolio using the project management system, and escalate issues requiring senior management intervention.
