About The Position
Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. (TWE) is seeking a CMT Project Manager in Sulphur, LA. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships, technician teams, and project outcomes, with hands-on experience in soils, concrete, or asphalt testing. TWE is a large, private, and minority-owned geotechnical firm with a presence across Texas and Louisiana, known for its resources and efficient decision-making. The Project Manager will be the primary representative for TWE on projects, responsible for maintaining safety and quality standards, managing technicians, and ensuring project success.
Requirements
- High school diploma + 7 years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor's degree + 1 year of experience.
- 2+ years of CMT (Construction Materials Testing) experience, preferably in soils, concrete, and/or asphalt testing and inspection.
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office and standard testing/data programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort with numbers.
- Valid Louisiana Driver's License with a clean record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit for extended desk work.
- Pass a clean background check.

- ACI, NICET, and/or LA DOTD certifications (Concrete Field Testing, Soils, Aggregate, or related disciplines).
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact, building trust through consistent, high-quality service.
- Draft proposals, secure project numbers, and manage project setup.
- Assign and train technicians, coordinating with dispatch to ensure adequate staffing for projects.
- Oversee quality control, including reviewing, signing, and distributing reports, and managing billing and invoicing.
- Identify opportunities for business growth by expanding client relationships and securing new work.
- Provide safety leadership, setting standards for a safe jobsite and office environment.
