About The Position

Supply Planner - NDT is a key role for a highly motivated individual with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems, while delivering value to the business. The Supply Planner - NDT will be involved in the entire demand generation process, including inventory replenishment and management. This work includes ensuring consistent supply to the Regions, avoiding any stockouts, managing material accuracy, and being the vital communication link between the Regions and the production plant. Demand Supply Planner – NDT will diagram and plan the manufacturing orders that will follow the production process for each of the business flows according to demand requirements, maximizing the usable film from master rolls to achieve the lowest possible film waste.

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields is preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management in an ERP-SAP environment.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.  Able to get point across effectively.
  • Possesses outstanding inter-personal skills to work at all levels of the vertical.
  • Results driven / goal oriented
  • Zero defect mentality, advocate for highest level of quality.
  • Always be willing to drive what is needed or find the right person to do so
  • Languages: Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the review, development, and forecasting of demand.
  • Address any risk of supply shortages and develop contingency plans.
  • Act as a communication bridge between demand planners in each region and manufacturing regarding planning matters such as urgencies, priorities, changes in order sizes, etc.
  • Coordinate customer requirements with related departments, understand the impact, and provide feedback.
  • Develop, together with the department manager, the individual development plan, backup coverage plan, and a rotation plan as required.
  • Develop production plans based on demand, plant capacity, and required product shipment dates.
  • Assign and release products for shipment to their destination on time and in the required quantities.
  • Report demand status, production progress, and escalate obstacles affecting compliance with production and shipment plans.
  • Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency, maintaining high service levels (on-time and in-full deliveries), keeping finished goods inventory within agreed limits, and contributing to low operating costs.
  • Manage the master production schedule and work orders, set priorities, and verify the schedule according to the availability of materials, operations personnel, and production capacity.
  • Identify and implement improvement projects for finished goods planning.
  • Diagram, plan, and monitor manufacturing orders and the inventory of planned film that will follow the production process at each work center according to demand requirements, maximizing the usable film from master rolls to achieve the lowest possible film waste.
