Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Salisbury, MD
•$17 - $25•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often a first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while delivering compassionate, personalized service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and applicable laws and professional standards, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and effective pharmacy team. After starting, Technicians must complete a company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Where permitted and with the required training and certification, Technicians may provide additional services such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, or staff offsite clinics. Technician immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines and support related patient education, documentation, adverse-reaction monitoring, and vaccine-supply management. This is a full-time position with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The typical pay range is $16.50–$25.00. The position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, based on eligibility, that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources.
