About The Position
The Pharmacist assures the appropriateness of drug therapy as described in the position accountabilities. The pharmacist is responsible for ensuring that the medication needs of inpatients and outpatients are accurately met and for maintaining all necessary records. In the absence of a Manager, a Pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Manager. This is a full-time Clinical Staff Pharmacist position following a rotating schedule, with day, evening, night, and weekend coverage required.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Vermont.
Nice To Haves
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.
- ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency or equivalent experience.
- Two years of clinical pharmacist experience in a health system.
Responsibilities
- Assure the appropriateness of drug therapy.
- Ensure medication needs of inpatients and outpatients are accurately met.
- Maintain all necessary records.
- In the absence of a Manager, assume the Manager’s essential responsibilities and perform the Manager’s duties as required.
