About The Position

Our Clinical Pharmacists ensure that medications, supplies, and drug information are delivered accurately, promptly, and in full compliance with Joint Commission requirements and other regulatory standards. They review and evaluate drug regimens—including complete medication profiles—to identify issues that may require pharmacy intervention or ongoing monitoring. In addition, they play an active role in direct patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to guide the optimal use of medications and to support coordinated care plans for individual patients and patient groups. Our Clinical Pharmacists also provide education to patients and caregivers, build positive relationships with internal and external partners, collaborate effectively with pharmaceutical service representatives, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience working in pharmacy
  • Knowledge of treatment modalities
  • Dedication to patient care
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with patients, staff, physicians and visitors.
  • Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her area
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
  • Indiana Pharmacist License
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS)

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of hospital pharmacy experience
