About The Position
Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to practice pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession and integrate patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. The Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical services, including drug information, to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. They advise these providers about drug interactions, contraindications, and other relevant information to support optimal and safe drug therapy. The role serves patients across age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, with a rotation every fourth weekend. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Nice To Haves
- One year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
- Experience in Oncology Pharmacy.
- Good communication skills.
