About The Position

The Clinical Pharmacist (PACE) works directly with the healthcare team and patients to provide safe and effective pharmacy services in addition to dispensing medications. The pharmacist provides ambulatory pharmaceutical care services using approved guidelines in collaboration with other health professionals, including managing patient drug therapy and providing patient education.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a California pharmacist license, or certification by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) issued by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 2 years as a practicing pharmacist.
• Valid BLS certification or higher, following American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Board certification (BCACP) in ambulatory care or completion of a pharmacy practice residency.
• Three years as a practicing pharmacist is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual in English, Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese is strongly preferred.
